It's been a week since I last blogged. Been very tired of late so I'll just do a backdated entry to preserve the memories... Hey, besides memories, what's gone never returns what. So...

Monday
My mind's a blank, can't remember a thing, it's as if it never happened.

Tuesday
Finally the holiday for that General Election. Man.. elections should be held every year.. Maybe we could have a referendum this year to vote on whether 17 year olds can vote and then we could have another to vote on having annual elections and then we could have...

Well, not the best of holidays actually, spent it mugging the gp info pack. By the time I got to social issues II I nearly died - from the realisation that we covered very little as compared to the other classes. Oh well, it's too late to do anything, no teacher will screw up her class right? Besides, I've mugged the info pack, I'll be safe yea?

Wednesday
Wrong. As I soon discovered on the day of the GP common test. Realised I pretty much wasted my time. Went to do the random question about freedom instead. Then the stupid AQ I wrote for 10 mins, realised went out of point, and rewrote in the remaining 10 mins. Great.

Oh well, the rest of the day was pretty good really. Went to watch over the hedge with part of the class. Let's see, there was Wen Hao, Wei Liang, Jian Wei, Woo Han, Nandita, PJ, Sabby and Shafali also joined us. lol.. The show was good actually. Even sensed some greater meaning/moral in the beginning but the killer ending of utter madness and caffeine highs gave me amnesia again.

So after the show, with everyone still rather high, or maybe just didn't feel like going home, we went to the play ground, fooled around for a while and ended up playing catching. Yes, catching. At 17. Oh did I mention that we were to have 4 hours of chem (3 tut, 1 lect.) and 1 hour of phy the next day and we had undone tutorials?

Thursday
Well, the three hours of chem didn't turn out to be that bad. Ended up only having 2 cause we finished ahead of time. But got bombed early in the morning too. Had to see the VP(academic) to get screwed for the screwed up thing we did. Haiz 早知今日何必当初...to make it worse we couldn't see her that day cause wei liang had tournament. Haiz...

Oh, that day it also rained. Poured actually, and we witnessed the wondrous architectural design that the school had. Suddenly, we had a new water feature, a waterfall:

Friday
The last day of school finally. At long last but er.. have to get through the VP first. She turned out to be really nice, didn't scold us and was even concerned if any one of us was going to die if we got one this white slip. Then I also realised how lucky we were. Supposedly the Hodge wanted to scold us personally but lucky he too busy then the VPs told him to calm down first and they took over in the end. lol.. The VP even told us to take care during the hols and study hard (basically).

Haiz.. I shall be more guai.. lol..

With that aside, the rest of the day was as a last day of school should be - slack. Michelle Ooi didn't turn up for the GP period (probably supposed another teacher wanted it) So we had civics brought forward half an hour. lol.. interesting point was that Mervin and Richard wanted to well, *ahem* at com lab 6 but as it was full with DOTA players, returned and somehow Darren Lai found out. So with a quick phone call I assume someone went to raid them. How suay..lol...

Hmm... this post is getting freaking longwinded and I've not even gotten to today yet. Ah heck. Just a point in my life history, I finally played cluedo for the first time since say 10 years ago?

My mum woke me up at 7.50 to ask if I had canoe polo today. I checked my phone and saw the following:

Haiz.. 一场欢喜，一场空 the second message was a reply bout going bowling. Well anyway training turned out to be great, despite some major hitches but me finally being able to do an eskimo roll overshadowed it all. Yay.. Still feel damn happy.. And thus I decided to blog today.

Haiz... went to see the sinseh again today cause my ankle's still a bit swollen and well, still hurts in some positions. Also took the time to try and get my back injury treated. Not too sure the cause but it's abt 3 months already and hurts whenever I play badminton, volleyball, canoe polo or anything that requires me to bend backwards.

The guy suspects my spinal cord is not perfectly straight, somewhat slightly bent toward the side, something like an S... lol.. good news is that if it's really bent, then can declare for NS so less terok...heh.

But the bad news is that it means that I can't put too much strain on it, ie no badminton, volleyball, table tennis, tennis, canoe polo, water polo and everything that focuses on exerting a force with only one side of the body. Best would be to do sports that require both sides, so it's balanced or smth, such as swimming. So my mum want's me to change cca... haiz... and just when I found something that I actually liked. I mean, the cca is not fantastic but well, the sport's gd.

Bah... looks like I'll just have to go get an x-ray and seek a second opinion, hopefully not that bad lah... XD

Ge Chuang Concert

As expected, was too tired to do anything after the concert last nite but sleep. Oh well, the concert was pretty good, and ah... before someone comes and rubbish me again, I shall not comment further.

On a slightly seperate note, I managed to sprain my ankle during a concert.. Well done sia. Happened cause I needed to get back to my seat across the LT before the lights came back on so that I do not block anyone. Tripped and fell in the process thnx to the stupid uneven LT steps... haiz..

White Slips

Haiz.. got my first white slip today. Did the damn stupid thing of playing cards at the gallery during council investiture. But well, quite interesting actually. The teachers like all pre-planned properly to go catch different groups so at one swoop they caught 2-3 groups <>.<>

But I really pei fu the effort they put in to catch ppl lah.. They ran lorh... (or at least our physics tutor did) so yea, just like that, I got my first white slip. So now gotta be really careful, this new system is mad lah... 3 white slips parents will be notified, 4 conduct drop to fair, 5 probation, 6 suspension. So in essence you can only afford to break the school rules TWICE... in one whole year. Contrast that to the 6 demerit point 1 hour of detention system in RI that clears every semester and the pain really starts to sink in... ouch.

Hmm... it's always important to be optimistic, look on the bright side of life. As such, must also note down something better... like.. GP ended early and we had nearly an hour of civics! lol.. not much of a good thing but I can't quite stand the hour and a half GP sessions and civics is always slack and relaxing.

Er.. civics was quite intersting today actually. But I couldn't quite remember what it was.. haiz.. bad memory.. Oh well, that's it for now. gtg for the ge chuang concert soon..

Some apologies.. and a lot of crap... =D

Yea.. I think I was kinda mad (as in crazy) today.. might have accidentally pissed some people off or pushed things too far. Or just indirectly cause well... maybe got carried away or something.. Not too sure how many of these people are actually pissed but well, to them, I say "Sorry.. really didn't mean any harm."

hmm... now time for the crap.. oh yah... before that.. Got back my physics test today. and got bombed.. just passed by a bit although it was considered to be a very easy test - totally screwed up the part bout forces.. Even question 3 which was probably there to give marks.. haiz.. must really start to piah soon before it's too late...

On the brighter side of things, part of the class managed to stay back today.. Roughly the first time this week. haha, due to many objections about playing too much bridge, (ok ok, more like I was just plain bored..) I made a card tower for the first time...yay~!..

BAH

Today was some rubbish day. Slept at bout 12.30 last nite and woke up twice. Once at 2+ and another at 5.25 which was damn screwed up cause I had to wake up barely half an hour later. So, why was I up so late? Maths assignment.

Got the bloody thing on Monday and had only one day to do.. so piah like mad, today during double break also went to piah somemore, then during GP too. In the end? "The maths assignment arh.. hand in next Monday..." Yay... win liao...<>.<>

Well, thnx to that maths assignment and my disturbed sleep, I ended up half asleep during Econs too.. cause go thru test paper mah... then so sian.. until she reached the true false questions. Then she ask any more questions I say qn 10 then kena dao.. Until I practically shouted MA'AM!!. Then she smth like that one so simple dun wanna go thru, then ask wei liang to teach me...lol (cause wei liang said he noe).

Then the whole class laugh laugh laugh... make me feel like some idiot dunno how to do a supposedly freaking simple question. Then I stare at the question and think, then see the answer key... then.... "MA'AM!! I figured out why I don't understand... cause you mark wrongly.." lol.. paiseh lah.. I was quite groggy so damn anyhow, I'm a very polite guy ok...

But yea, so that kept me awake for abt 15 mins before I gave up and surrendered to my sleep again. lol...

I Love Blogspot

I love blogspot. I really do. Depending on its mood, it locks me out of it every once in a while. On other occasions, it just locks me out from viewing my own blog altogether.

But the best part of all is it's censorship. Fantastic stuff.. it randomly discounts the stuff I write between these emoticons >.<>.< And it's not as if I wrote it in the edit html mode, so yah, WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!!!!! %@#!

A late last minute blog

haha, it's 12.38 am now and I really should be asleep, but I just came back from the harmoc concert an hour ago and tomorrow's a really slack day with the timetable swap and all so who cares? lol..

Anyway, must first talk about yesterday... er.. I mean the day before... ah heck, let's consider today to still be wednesday, so yes, I'm gonna start with yesterday. What happened? Nothing much really, except that after 9 years of wearing contact lenses, yesterday was the first time it dropped out of my eye, onto the floor in public... below my block of flats actually, at the stair case landing.

And the amazing part was that I managed to find it, despite initially thinking that it was merely dislodged and going up to check first before going down to search for it. Well, even so, the more amazing part was that even after at least 3 people walked past the area, miraculously, no one stepped on it. So yea, bottom line I found it.. lol.. felt as if I struck 4D.. XP

OK, back to today. lol.. our dreams of having a break during econs as the teacher was on course was shattered when we had another essay to do.. @#! lah.. I didn't finish again...but well, I think neither did the rest of the class lah so well... I shall try harder next time, yea!

Well, after school went to watch MI:III with the brudderhood at 1.20... and as there was no break for 5 hours, I attempted to do a mission impossible by grabbing a bite and reaching there within 10 minutes... haha, not that impossible.... until the bus refused to come... so ended up 5 mins late.. lol.. they actually gave up and just left my tix at the counter..<>.<>

But fortunately, the movie started 10 minutes late thnx to our favourite advertisements... lol. hmm.. at this point I think I shall be nice and just give an overall rating on the show. 2 stars. It has a paper thin, straight forward plot with a cliche though not entirely predictable twist and a hell lot of action. So watch at your own risk, don't say I didn't warn you... XD

hmm... last but not least there was harmoc concert, but before that, must complain again.. You know the big looking florist at toa payoh hub near the library? Don't go there. Unless you love roses and carnations that is. Cause that's basically all they have apart from the ones that you bring to the temple to pray<>.<>On top of that they also didn't have those water thing to keep the flowers from dying so fast so they were pretty dead by the time the concert started...<>.<>sorry....

ok, to the concert now.. lol.. to be honest it was ok lah, I was quite tired though, but on the whole if you don't be too critical and you don't compare with the other more established musical groups, it was quite nice. The song selection was good but the arrangement was well... lol.. shall not be too critical...

yay.. finally the end.. ah... it's 1.01 am now.. gonna get barely 5 hours of sleep... argh... good nite...<>.<>

A mid week's day dream - To be me

Finally, most of the killer rubbish for this term is pretty much over with the completion of a Physics Lecture Test followed by a Maths Lecture Test. It wasn't as hard as expected fortunately, but I still screwed up somewhat anyway.

Haha, maybe to 'make up' for the lack of a break for 5 hours straight, our econs teacher didn't come today, had to attend a course or something, so we kinda got a free period cause the work we had to do required a com lab which wasn't booked in advanced... lol. Perfect timing really, but somehow along the way I got a little depressed due to strange reasons... fluctuations in *er... never mind*... I wonder... XPXS

Oh well, guess the highlight of the day was training. Someone up there loves me man... Went to the stadium steps at 2 and the sun was a killer, but by 2.30, the clouds came by to provide a nice comfortable weather for running. So we did 2km round the school at a nice comfortable pace, and learnt how to cure stitches from Jason. Lol.. very strange but surprisingly effective.. haha.

Did SOME form of physical training after that. Pretty crappy actually, there were only 2 guys and 8 girls, so we went to play captain's ball with the 2 guys as captain. lol... after that when we joined in became damn imba. 2 passes and score most of the time. In fact, so many 'goals' were scored we lost track of the numbers and just declared a draw..haha, pretty fun game actually.

Hmm... some other stuff also happened throughout the day though not really blogworthy, too personal I guess. On a seperate note of personal reflection, I feel that I've changed.... a lot really, mostly for the better I suppose, but of late I'm seem to be acting in ways that I don't want to, becoming a person I don't want to be.

2 long weeks

It's been some time since I last updated this place. 2 weeks to be precise. 2 busy weeks actually, and it's still not quite over but least I'm feeling somewhat better today.
Well now with a load of my back, the week started with the rush to finish the last bit of our GP performance task video which turned out to be pretty hilarious and fortunately, the teacher liked it. lol.. Feel a bit bad actually, cause well, I didn't quite put in as much work as those people like Ruth and Sabby who did the editing and went down to NUS to film... >.<>Oh wells, I guess you don't need the whole group down all the time so...... XS

heh... Also managed to squeeze myself into a group of NCC sea cadets from Serangoon Secondary for my 2 Star assessment. It wasn't a squeeze actually, cause out of the initial 30 that were supposed to turn up, only 18 of them did... lol...

I got there slightly late that day and was initially quite happy to see the councillors who were in the area as part of their council camp. It's the feeling you get when you're going to be with a group of strangers, but yet people you know are but a stones throw away. But the feeling soon faded when they started doing house cheers, in particular the Hadley-Hullett Hur Hur Har Hee one... At the point in time I was hoping that no one would realise that I was wearing the same shirt as those people out there... To make it worse, it was when the instructor was trying to give the group I was in a theory session...<>.< (@HH councilors: "I'm one but not alone" so take the hint and get a better cheer........)

Fortunately that didn't last too long and we went into the water for our expedition soon after anyway. Got burnt quite bad in the process: pretty much became the colour of my house... no not purple, black lah.. lol >.< (not funny) but oh well, least I finally completed (and passed) my 2 star course after nearly a month of delays...yay!~ -_-

The second week was more stressful though. Don't really feel like blogging bout it but just as a note I shall anyway =)

Oh.. I nearly forgot, there was NAPFA where I set new personal bests in all stations... lol... 2.4 was the best, improved by 1 min and 37 seconds to clock a C grade at 11:23... lol.. I shall perservere!! Next was chin ups where I did 4 more than last year's. Standing Broad Jump was a disappointment on the first test date though. Fell short of the C grade by a lot cause my abs were hurting after sit ups. But lucky retest I did 240...whee... lol... The rest got improvements too but I think that's enough liao...heh, before some people start calling me ego... XD

Ok, back to the parts I didn't quite want to blog about: Chem SPA.. First real SPA in my life and well, was miraculously easy. I think the whole class, no whole level will probably get about lvl 7 or 8 unless there was a screw up or something.

After that, the week was actually starting to look good until....Friday's english essay test. Screwed that one up. Had the points but didn't flow properly.. Luckily it's supposedly not graded (Graded = marked and counted into CA btw)

Well, that brings me to this long weekend where I feel much more refreshed after slacking around and letting my mind sort itself out, amazing what sleep can do for you. haha, still feeling something nagging in the corner but well, time should hopefully fix that. In the meantime, shall go play a bit of Pokemon Fire Red to 回想当年。。。lol..
