Burnt...

haiz.. got the worst sunburn in the last 2-3 years yesterday from a 1 star kayaking course at kallang, and the weather wasn't even that hot yesterday. The course was from abt 8.30 to 5 or something like that, of which we spent an hour eating and about another just trying to get away from the dragon boat competition, the national team training and those damned fishing lines... Nearly got caught in 2 of them.. but luckily managed to see them and dive under before anything much could happen.

So yah, it was quite an insightful course and I can finally kayak reasonably enough so that I could sit back and relax on the kayak while we go cruise around finding a sheltered area to practicethe strokes.... until the instructor comes close that is, then gotta faster sit straight and siam, cause he keep splashing water at ppl. Some guy got damn wet cause he kept getting caught leaning back while kayaking.

I myself kena-ed toward the end of the day for 'rafting up' when we were supposed to be practicing the classical version of the j draw (strokes to move ur kayak to the side). But I feel so yuan wang.. I just 'happened to be beside another guy who was stationary' come on, we weren't even holding on to each other's kayaks.. and I was the only one to kena the water..haiz. Then he still anyhow say I bully xiang ying... I only asked if I could splash water at her.. =(

40!!

lol.. wat's 40? hmm gd question, many different answers, eg. this post is something like 40 hours late. Then again, it may be something else =P

yep, was too busy/tired to blog for the past 2 days, so I'll probably do a double post again, starting from Friday, where I was damn tired cause of all the sleep debt that I had chalked up throughout the week. Dunno y but I really cmi with an avg of 6+ hrs of sleep a day, so by the end of the week I practically stone through the day unless there's something very interesting, which there wasn't until sch ended.

While the usual ppl did something somewhere at the back of the class, miki i think, suggested ppl playing hide and seek... and the response was surprisingly good...haha, ppl, how old already arh? =P

Well, things started to get interesting when wen hao went to hide sabby's file on the top of the lockers and told me about it before he left which was good timing cause soon after she realised her file was missing and somehow I got dragged into the picture (all cause I knew.. haiz..) So woo han and I locked her out of class! haha, and PJ defected sides too..lol.. Then I went to throw her bottle out of class and went to take it to hide while she thought that i was locked out! haha, and NO! I didn't say that wen hao hid it in the male toilet, I just didn't say it wasn't..heh. well so the brave girls went to explore the male toilet while woo han and I took pictures, or rather tried to, cause my phone went cranky and woo han's pictures were supposedly damn blur, so only got evidence of PJ going in. O well, at the end of it she did find her bottle on top of the classroom door and then the 4 of us went on to tok bout some stuff which er... should be censored from public disclosure, heh.

Blood donation

lol... so happy, yesterday I actually managed to get myself to go donate blood after all. haha, i initially thought that i would most probably back out or be too lazy to go or something.Anyway, it was quite interesting and worthwhile lah, at least i might be helping someone somewhere..

o yah, then the nurse was damn funny... ask me got monkeys around RJ or not. then i tell her have... MacRitchie.. i think they scared the monkeys scratch us then got AIDS or something..lol

But honestly i was quite nervous.. cause that stupid foo chay yeow make so much noise then i see the needle so fat.. then to make it worse i had to sit there for damn long, cause they dunno whether to change me to another chair or to change the position of the arm rest, cause the nurse say smth about my left arm the vein resting on the bone or smth.. so not so good :S but it the end, after i wanted to die frm the suspense (sorry lah, i had bad bad experience with needles and veins before) they decided to change the rest itself. oh and i felt damn stupid, cause i discovered later that there was to be an anesthetic jab first -.-...lol

No more braces!!!

yay.. ponned the first half of the day to get rid of those stupid braces once and for all. its a pretty weird feeling actually, suddenly my teeth so smooth.. but its also damn screwed up too - couldn't talk much the whole day cause whenever the wind blew at my teeth, i felt a sharp pain and yes, 7 storey is very windy >.< strangely enough i can drink cold drinks leh..

so to stop the pain, i resisted toking much until vaish and priscilla were like trying to convince ppl to take H1 mother tongue so that there'd be enough ppl frm our class who want to take so don't need to change class or smth liddat. haiz.. couldn't stand it. their success of getting 5 ppl to do so is making the ks side of me go crazy... had to try and counter convince them into just taking the HMT O's instead.. but i failed miserbly.. lol, come on Mr. Tai!!! reject their requests!!!! =)

No more bridge!!!

haiz... today is a sad day for all bridge enthusiasts in RJ... yes, it's come to this... poker cards have officially been banned again due to erm smth like students not being able to exercise control... so sad rite... and darren lai was actually laughing about giving white slips...tsk >.<

lol, ok lah, actually kinda expected given that the whole sch looked quite bad with ppl (like me and the so6f guys :P) playing bridge everywhere.. frm the canteen to outside phy lab to outside LT4 before student dev...lol but anyway, the new rule is quite stupid lah.. can only play after 5pm and in the canteen... i'm sure its that much different from a complete ban.. then again, if you're a bridge addict then...haha ok enough contradictiing myself already.

but interesting to note, this 'set back' has once again brought out the creative geniuses of the student population, ever so ready to read the rules carefully and find ways arou...erm.. technical legal alternatives. haha, no poker cards? uno cards will suffice...lol.. and the best is after 5 rite? but nvr say till wat time, so eh.. after 5 till 2007 can? haha, but seriously, i'd like to see the tchr's reactions if uno cards start popping up..

other than that, today was a great day! we had our land yacht test during first period and our screwed up yacht managed to pull of a fantastic stunt by going all the way to the edge of the track and turning the other direction before it got disqualified... pro rite? lol... but then some other grp frm the other class came and kope our eh... trademark move and scored highest distance... tsk.. nvr pay royalties some more.. =P

bah... really must try to shorten my entries and seive out the interesting stuff... my enthusiasm dies out too quickly then i sian diao liao... bzzt.. going to sleep liao..

another back dated post once again but o'well, i spent my weekend basically sleeping... =) finally caught up with all my lost sleep over the week.

but anyway, talentime was stupid and considerably boring...ok, i'll admit, i missed the house parts and the z'king and z'queen thing if that was supposed to be the best part...bridge/dai dee is more impt :P lol.. ok lah, maybe the rock band and singing performances were not my cup of tea (i still thing last year's Spotlight was better though) but the most screwed up part was voting.

after successfully and skillfully managing to squeeze through the bulk of ppl to matthew(and in so doing cutting the queue =) i managed to get to the counter to purchase the votes on behalf of a friend who wanted 4 votes and a dialogue smth like this took place:

Person at the counter "Sorry, exact change only"
Me: "I want 4"
sudden announcement from emcees: "only 1 vote per person"
MT person selling the votes: "Are you from Moor Tarbet?"
Me: "No."
MT person: "Sorry i can't help you *laughs*"

.... wat's this man... screwed up system.. i still dunno the results but someone, please surprise me and tell me MT din win. oh and MATTHEW! i saw u getting another vote for MT! haha well, you know it already but... tsk.. =)

Learning Journey

anyway we took a bus there immediately after sch and play bridge.. whee Mr. Lai also joined us since its not in sch but haiz.. i so suay.. lost both games due to bad cards...(its always the card's fault!:P) on the way also sang some songs but haha, a bit only and i can't sing for nuts so... heh..

and yes, must talk abt wen hao! there was this fountain thing at the science centre outdoor area, similar to the one u find at bugis junction. then cause it was shooting a single stream for damn long, and under the instigation of someone, wen hao actually went to walk toward it, wanting to go under. But he wait too long liao, then like the min he go there, another stream came up, then he actually walked into it and....ggxx...haha =)

hmm... oh yah, i nearly forgot why we went to the science centre... but anyway, it was to watch some omnimax show abt some fighter pilots. aiyah, the show was not that fantastic and i got bit giddy so no point remembering, then we went to have some lecture by the science centre ppl on the video and how planes fly which was quite wu liao except for the cheem eqns which were erm... cheem lah. but damn interesting, at the end of the lecture the guy was like u can come down and play with the stuff, namely some blower and beach ball thingy and the "helicopter" toys like this one:


at first everyone like damn sian and not interested, then play a bit only, then siao liao, all reduced to pri sch kids...haha, like we had some deprived childhood liddat.. so we went to fool around and yea, after dunno how many years i finally tried that electric chair thingy and got a receipt to prove it!


haha, it was quite stupid lah, the thing just vibrate such that if u grip hard, it will be hard for u to let go..but well zong suan liao jie le yi ge tong nian de yuan wang! XP

lol.. still got a few other stuff lah, like going to the new and lousy "house of mirrors"(more like a wall actually) and stuff.. but well, still got my maths tutorial to do.. so cya!

ok, i hv no idea wat i'm trying to do here, blogging bout basically the same thing in 2 places... maybe tksspm more suited for toking kok only so eh.. got alternate version here... >.<

anyway yah, i felt quite bad, cause chin bought the tksspm ppl some mahjong tile handphone er 'ornament' (in his own words) and then our ogls bought us chocolates and then sabby bought chocolates for the whole class... all the nice ppl... then wat did i give? just the gift that i was supposed to get for the valentines exchange thingy...>.<

o well, but at least the person liked it lah...heh. oh and thnx to all the thoughtful ppl as well... yes, this means u too chin..lolx...

Did you cut your hand?

lol, today's a funny day.. for phy prac today our tchr din come, so we got some relief who din bother to tell us her name, doesn't really matter. The point was that for some strange reason, whenever i was staring at my hands, be it trying to cut the bamboo poles (satay sticks actually, not those hang clothes one..haiz phy dept...) or trying to peel my hands open after glueing them togther, she would ask "Did you cut you hand?" in a weird way that sounded as if she's those xin zai le huo kind..

oh and our yacht is damn zai sia, without a sail also can move.. pro rite? haha, but then dunno why the stupid glue decided to guai lan us, when we wanted it to dry, blow like siao already still like water, then when we accidentally touch it for like 0.5 sec, it will like dry instantly. so if anyone was actually looking at our grp, we were all more like desperately trying to get our hands off the flimsy yacht than anything :SS but in the end, due to some miracle and erm... "usage of newly gained info from intelligence services", we pulled it off...wahahaha!!! guess where it came frm :P

hmm... lame riddle time, wat do u do when u have a free period, a nice LT with aircon, lights and 2 MIKEs with no teachers around?

you take it over and have your own talkshow a la wen hao during Student Dev... come to think abt it, really dunno how it started lorh... all i remember was wen hao taking the mike, then matthew came in asking wat happened and the moment wen hao mentioned "purnimuthu" everything came out... haha, so sad.. private blog became rumour became class discussion sia.. i'll leave the details out for now, after all, i've got the whole thing on tape!

haiz, ok, i think this is another terrible entry, but anyways, i feel sian already, dunno why always get that feeling the moment i enter this page maybe should try using that email thing nxt time....heh.. go do my maths assignment liao..bb...
