Go smoke elsewhere...
yea, the title says it all. I thought since the *er hem* secondary school beside my house shifted, so would the number of secondary school kids who go smoke at the stairs to my house, but no, they're back again.
They plant 2 guys in the middle of the stairs -.- while the third guy smokes in between the storeys. What idiots. I mean, you're underaged and you're smoking, and of all the places you choose a staircase landing of a HDB block. Please lah... want to avoid getting caught at least go to the higher floors right? Imagine you walk pass a HDB block and you see a bunch of kids loitering around the stairs and you smell smoke, pretty obvious what they're doing right? ...
So therefore, to all those potential underaged smokers who want to smoke in their school uniform, please think a little harder and choose a safer spot. Thank you..

The Lift
ok, heh, this is partly my fault. But small part only lah. It was our friendly CT rep mainly =P. Well, the class was taking the lift up to the sixth floor for PW, then well, Mervin decided to do the lift thing, the one where you don't let the door close fully and pull it open a bit as it moves between storeys.
Er.. he claimed he didn't know that the lift would stall for a while, but anyway, he did it. The lift bounced a bit and I nearly went deaf... >.< haha, it was quite interesting, with so many people and all. But the best part was all the people staring at us when we exit-ed the lift.. like wth.. how did these people come UP to the 6th storey frm the 14th storey... lol XP
Oh yah, today my og also drew lots to remember someone's b'day and get him/her a gift on that day. Well, He Qi refused to lemme pick, she just gave me one. Claimed she didn't sabo me but I have my doubts. Where got so qiao one.. of all the ppl she gave me nk's, whose b'day we were gonna celebrate today ( it was on sat though). Anyway damn zai lah, nk came, looked all the names then chose mine and threw it away there after cause my bday over liao... haha and well, yan an also swapped with someone else to get dali's one. So in the end the 4 of us 2h ppl all got each other cept dali... haiz.. he arh... tsk =P
Well yea, went to J8 to get a bday gift at 4.30... felt so damn conned. was doing my work lah, then the way things went it sounded like a lot of ppl were going. Then in the end.. only 3 guys.. is that pro or wat.. So we went over, spent an hour and finally settled on a gift. Damn hard ok.. he watch way too many anime for us to know which is his fav liao.. but anyway, we'll see tmr... XD

Need sleep...
haiz.. what a week so far. Failed my test again.. haiz... the only thing I've passed so far is like math?(wat an irony >.<).. dunno wat to conclude really, maybe I can take some consolation in that most people failed too. Take physics, I failed and was 5th highest... wth? Then chem. failed again.. although the highest is like 5 marks above passing? bah.. what a bad start to the year. Oh well, Besides memories, what's gone never returns so don't dwell on them.
Yes, I've been working relatively harder recently.. hah. Stayed up 'quite' late to finish my work lah.. can't believe it. But what to do? this crazy class of mine has an avg gpa of roughly above 3.6.. the peer pressure is killing me. So yea, as a result of my.. new found hardworking-ness, I've been sleep deprived.

I'm this bored...
Haiz.. this is the worst part of the hols, when its ending but not quite ended. So damn depressing especially if you're like me with nothing you want to do which you can do, some stuff you need to do, and lots of other stuff you ought to do but don't feel like doing.
To make it worse I missed the second lesson of the 2 star kayaking course today cause last nite go bbq then everything also forget liao. Must be all that smoke and carcinogenic chicken wings... lol.. So I've been reduced to random surfing to kill time till the stress of deadlines sets in enough to make me go do my work..haha. Came across this questionnaire
How Do People See You? and hey, lemme re-emphasize the fact that I am freaking bored ok..but yea, played around with it quite a few times and discovered it gives the same answer everytime... talk about precise but not accurate...damn.. that reminds me that I've got a physics tutorial to do as well...>.<

Bah.. was supposed to go pool with a few ppl today. At first got 7 ppl, then early in the morning lock sms me say he cmi. 1 hr later, sabby sms me say she also cannot go. 10 mins later, hui zhen's turn to fall sick. So in the end left 4 ppl, then wen hao dun wanna go, then left 3 ppl.. play wat? haiz.. so in the end I went for this pretty last minute sort of 2h bbq at ECP anyway.
Those crazy ppl(ok, me too lah, but din wanna waste money=P) wanted to buy the fireproof and waterproof shirt to bbq it and test out the fireproof quality of the shirt, and compare it to a normal RI shirt. But in the end, fortunately, no one wanted to go to beauty world to buy the stupid shirt. What a waste of money sia.. buy shirt to burn..tsk. But anyway, wei yang still brought his old RI shirt and er, it got a bit burnt... the 'control' rag that he brought too was burnt even more. O well, I guess we're really bored people.
And the food was buite bomb. So much lah.. sotong balls, prawn balls, and a hell lot of sausages and slightly lesser chicken wings some of which have been frozen, thawed, frozen and thawed again. Miracle if we don't get diahorrea tmr. But well, cooking lesson learnt: Prawns the xia ren type and mashmallows go very well with Cadbury chocolate. =)
Oh and the ppl who went to return the bikes today also damn good. Returned 20 mins late, cause was waiting for the ppl who went to buy ice and drinks to come back. Well, the ppl at the shop wanted to charge extra, then they all go smoke them say nvr bring money... then the guy was like did u all really not notice the time? wah stupid question, obviously the answer would be no rite? but yah, they somehow managed to smoke their way out of the whole thing.
Ok, was supposed to try and understand my Econs tonight, but guess its too late liao.. haiz...

I'm bored...
Felt quite bored this hols with work that I should be doing but don't feel like doing.. Oh well, I'll get to them... someday.. In the mean time, check out these pics:

O well, so I went to some supermarket in Bedok Reservoir with my parents after lunch. Me? shop? in a supermarket at that? lol.. not my type of thing, so being bored I walked round looking at the signs and spotted a few interesting ones:
The words aren't very clear so I retyped them. May have made a mistake with the second word in both the English and Chinese versions but no, I didn't make a typo with the first, it does say Life. Ok, maybe their English not so good, but do these fishes look live to you? lol..And well, discovered their Chinese isn't that fantastic either:
Btw, 活 means live in Chinese. Well, perhaps they didn't realise the fishes in the previous picture died, but these.. there's no way these could have been alive at the time when the sign was placed there right?
Speaking of bad language, here's another from some shop in some shopping centre which I took a looong time ago:
hmmm.. now I'd certainly hope that the assembly people they send don't have to read the instruction manual when they do the assembly... haha, then again, to be fair, maybe their comprehension skills might be better. 2 Star Course
2 star kayaking course really much more different from 1 star, 1 star can go left right up down...er.. forward backward actually and capsize won't die good enough already. 2 star still must learn edging, eskimo bow recovery, low brace and high brace support or smth.. all of which require you to try and capsize.. which thus means that if you 失手 then congrats. haha, which I did.. twice, and the second time I did was abt 50-100 meters away from the shore of Kallang SSC during low tide... and when I got into an upright position... I stood up. lol.. talk about low tides and gentle gradients.. hah XD
o yea, sherwin was also some bomb. Normal ppl do capsize dril they capsize, tap 3 times and come out. He do? Never tap nvm, come out liao the kayak still right side up... then he go flip it again and filled it up with a hell lot of water.. bah..sabo me only.. lol..

Legs and Paddles
Yay.. went for my first kayaking competition with sea sports today. Its actually a small competition which we technically cannot win, so just go there and try try play play lorh. But well, we had 4 teams for the relay category (5km running X2 and 2.5km canoeing in a 2 man canoe) and miraculously, we all made it into the top 15!!! whee.... oh, but there are 18 teams in total... heh. XD
Ah well, considerably good already lah, considering the other people's built arh... see already feel 自卑. Heh.. my team got 14th and for the canoeing part, our timing was 13th(16mins). Interesting to note was that one team from RJ got the third fastest canoe timing(12 min+).. :SS
So yea.. very happy with our results but my arms will probably die tmr :S

Where do I belong?
lol.. today so sad... was feeling damn bored after school with nothing to do but wait for the stupid council thingy so that I can withdraw my nomination, so we went back with wen hao, sabby, pris, wei,cherie (who pang seh us... =P) hui zhen and her friend to RI to find a place with air con to rot the day away. Well, miraculously, despite almost every other classroom door being locked, the back door of my old classroom was open, so we went in, played bridge and bluff and discovered that hui zhen and sabby cannot lie for nuts... haha, so fun catching them XD
But yea, as luck would have it, some of the guys from maintanence spotted the lights being switched on and busted us, so I came up with some crap excuse (which happened to be pretty much true =D) about not knowing that the classrooms were locked cause I just went back to my old class and found the door unlocked and since RI koped RJ's space, and last year RJ koped RI's space, we assumed it was alright. Well, fortunately for us the maintainence guys turned nice and let us off, even reminding us that now need to seek permission from estate dept liao. So lucky lillian tan was not there sia.. if not then die liao... haha
Being chased out from my beloved RI, I went back to our old A76 classroom where we got chased out again, this time by the CO ppl who wanted to use the space for some camp tonight... so sad... haiz.. btw, I somehow managed to miss all the time slots allocated to withdraw from the election process, fortunately that compulsory meeting thing is only compulsory if you wanna run, so lucky me... lol... XDD

O2
4 days never blog liao, longest so far, so today must post at least a short one. But since I'm damn tired now, I shall just leave my O2 and batchgive reflections for tmr.. haha. Anyway we had a "sort of a class" dinner today. Not really class dinner lah, considering not that many ppl. But anyway, we went on to the playground tok as usual then played truth or dare and asked more typical questions.
The bottle was also damn good, everyone tio once before they tio again, but no one really wanted dare cause it was sui bian from the bubble tea shop or something worse... until the dare was going up to some guy, saying "Do you think that we should recast ourselves together in Brokeback Mountain?" and must be loud enough for the rest of the people to hear, which actually made it easier lah(heh, thnx =D), cause its a bit more obvious that it was a dare. But the joke was, the guy beside the one I asked, went "lv gong si mi?! (Wat toking you?!)".. lol.. we should do this with more people nxt time.. maybe tmr XD but for now, I go sleep liao.. nite...

Went to play pool with chin, dali, yz, jere and eleanor today. Was supposed to meet at 1.30 but only jere and eleanor were on time due to various reasons..haha. I was quite bored, so sian talking with the stupid retainers. But anyway,the highlight of pool is probably this shot. Check it out man:

Well, ok, the answer's pretty obvious since I'm actually asking it but yea, its actually possible as accidentally proven by chin. I was feeling very bored so I created a simple flash animation to demonstrate =P
Oh yah, due to some freak reason we happened to see Leong Kok Weng at PS earlier on too. Walked past each other but din bother to acknowledge. Actually I think its more like he didn't see us, but oh well, "it's better this way, we'd hurt each other with the things we want to say"

Today really can die. We were toking kok after sch in A76 as usual when dunno how come someone... PJ I think, suddenly say that I like sabby. Then Jian Wei and Vaish started saying bout how they discuss for one hour and arrive at the same conclusion, citing me asking her questions about work as evidence, which is damn anyhow. And Mervin and PJ were down there making things worse with their usual nonsence.
Haiz.. now I think I know how Matthew felt.. lol.. really man, can't be so bad to other people.. haha, mervin and jian wei.. watch out man, someday..heh XD
But anyway, come to think of it, really damn childish sia.. but then again, we do this almost every other day so... >.<

she shells she shells on the she shore
haha, got to pon school for dental again and with 2 tutorials due today, my appointment really couldn't be on a better date. But still, today was really a case of 塞翁失马 sia. Firstly, I screwed up my appointment and thought that it was 10 when it was really 10.15.. but then again, its because of that that is why I wasn't late. Cause the stupid MRT of all days choose today to have some screwed up problem with the track. So after like travelling for 3 mins, it will stop for 5 mins.. and to think I thought "wah.. so heng managed to catch the train". So I took abt an hour for a trip that usually only takes 35 mins or so.
Sigh.. but that's abt the end of the 焉知非福 part cause then I got my retainers which totally screws up my speech. And I got to wear it 24/7 eat, sleep and er.... with it for the next 6 months, but o well, I'll just wear it at nite after bout a week I guess =) Oh and being a product of RI, "reflecting discipline and passion for learning", I decided to go back to sch.
Unfortunately, something tells me I shouldn't have bothered, cause the stupid train service back to Bishan had to delay a while so that the trains can be coordinated with one another again. Then after making my way to the gate at the RJ carpark, I realised it was locked... wanted to climb over but the camera staring right at me so had to go thru the collabarium(o, try googling this word, u'll get rather interesting results XD).. lucky the gate was open. Anyway by the time I got to A76, there was barely 5 mins left of Econs..haha XDD
oh yes, on a side note, I finally finished my one star kayaking course! yay! lol.. XD
